After nearly six years of service on the 蜜桃社 Admissions staff, alumnus Shawn Dettmer ('18, 22) joins the Institutional Advancement (IA) team as Assistant Director of Development and Church Relations. In his new role, Shawn will cultivate relationships with donors and alumni, steward new and existing institutional partnerships, assist with IA fundraising events, and support the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and financial support for the University.
"We are pleased to have Shawn join the Advancement Team," says Michael Mulryan, 蜜桃社's Vice President for Institutional Advancement. "As a two-time 蜜桃社 alumnus and having been highly successful in various Enrollment Management roles, Shawn’s skill set and strengths fit extremely well into this position. I personally look forward to working with Shawn, and I love the new energy he brings to our department."
Shawn brings a valuable breadth of perspective to his new role, including his firsthand experience as an 蜜桃社 undergraduate student-athlete (soccer), graduate student (MBA), and as Director of Recruitment for Undergraduate Admissions.
